What are the qualifications?

High School students, grades 9-12

Attend a school that has Philadelphia Academies Presence. Those schools include:

  • Ben Franklin
  • West Philadelphia
  • ParkWay West
  • Overbrook
  • Edward W. Bok
  • George Washington
  • South Philadelphia
  • William Penn
  • Roxborough
  • Samuel Fels
  • Abraham Lincoln
  • Kensington
  • MLK
  • Jules Mastbaum
  • Horace Howard Furness
  • Swenson, Arts & Technical

*Exceptions can be made for students outside of these schools. Please do not be discouraged when applying.

How do I apply?

  1. Print and complete the WesGold Fellows Summer Internship Application
  2. Include a current resume (see sample below)
  3. Fax to 215.452.0101
  4. Mail to 5200 Warren Street, Philadelphia, PA 19131
  5. Email to tiffany@wpfsi.com

What Happens Next?

After we receive a completed application from you (application + writing sample + resume) we will call and schedule you for an interview. Interviews are held every Wednesday and Friday from 3PM to 5PM.

How do I prepare for my Interview?

In the interview, we are looking to get to know you. Tell us about yourself and you are involved with your school, community and/or family. What are your hobbies and other interests? Where do you see yourself in five years?

Don’t be nervous. We won’t bite! Show up on time and dress appropriately.  Speak up and just let us know how wonderful you are. We know you think you are so prove it to us!
